Detail: Wednesday - Nov.4th sees the opening of the Hillsborough County Fair. Located east of Brandon on Hwy 60, the fair features rides, free entertainment, livestock shows and of course, fair food. The fair runs through Sunday, November 8th. The second year at this new location brings an arena with seating for over 1500 and expanded parking areas. The arena will feature the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Posse, 4H Horse Shows and a Ranch Rodeo. The fair opens at 5 pm on weekdays, 10 am on Saturday and noon on Sunday. For a big weekend of pageants, a plant auction, a Ranch Rodeo, a chili cook-off and more, plan to visit the fair. Admission is only $5 for fairgoers over the age of 8 and parking is free.
